Synopsis : Binodini Dasi follows a young girl from Kolkata’s red-light district who dreams of becoming a theatre star. Mentored by playwright Girish Chandra Ghosh, she rises to fame as Nati Binodini, but faces constant prejudice from a male-dominated society and heartbreak in love. Despite compromises and betrayals, her turning point comes after meeting spiritual guru Shri Ramkrishna Paramhansa, who blesses her on stage. Realizing true peace lies within, she quits acting at 24, leaving behind a legacy that reflects the struggles and resilience of women in society.

Ram Kamal Mukherjee is an acclaimed filmmaker, writer, and journalist with over 20 years of experience. He co-produced Bin Kuch Kahe (2016) and directed the award-winning short film Cakewalk, which premiered on a movie satellite channel and streamed on Voot. His notable films include Seasons Greetings, Rickshawala, Broken Frame, and Shubho Bijoya. Former Editor-in-Chief of Stardust, he has authored authorized biographies on Hema Malini and Sanjay Dutt. He has won the Power Brand Award for Best Biographer and Film Journalist.
