Synopsis : Ana is driving, her face serious and angry. Mateo, her husband, asks her to turn around, returning to the place in the forest where they have left their seven-year-old son. It’s only been two minutes, but he’s gone.

At age 23, Matías Bize directed Saturday (2003) which won the Fassbinder Award at Mannheim-Heidelberg Festival. In the Bed (2005) premiered at Locarno and went on to win 40+ international awards. About Crying (2006) also premiered at Locarno while Life of the Fish (2010) and The Memory of War (2015) premiered at Venice. In the Dominican Republic he directed 7:20 Once a Week (2019), a remake of In the Bed. During the lockdown he invited his actors to record their own stories on cell phones: these became Private Messages (2022).
