Synopsis : Aburao, a gifted clown (“song adya”) from a Tamasha troupe. Born to a troupe dancer in rural Maharashtra, he rises quickly in the world of folk theatre with political satire, and then is lured into cinema and politics. Fame, power and the glitzy world estrange him from his roots. He must finally confront his own values, his illegitimate daughter, his past and the true meaning of his craft.
