Synopsis : Topic Description:
The youth of India are drawn to the glamour and creativity of cinema but often lack the skills to enter the industry. By providing structured training in filmmaking, sound design, and production, MESC bridges this gap. Drawing inspiration from legends like Ramesh Sippy and Kiran Joneja Sippy, young aspirants are empowered to pursue successful careers.
The session starts as a Masterclass from 11.00am to 11.30am by Ms Kiran Joneja Sippy on the topic 'Youth and Cinema : Empowering Aspirants for a Creative Future'.
From 11.35am to 12.30pm the format will change to an InConversation session between Mr. Ramesh Sippy and Mr. Mohit Sony on the topic Passion for Perfection : Ramesh Sippy’s Philosophy), in which a Q and A is also included.

Ramesh Sippy:
Padmashree Ramesh Sippy is a renowned Indian film director, producer, and industry leader, best known for his iconic film Sholay (1975) along with his films Andaaz , Seeta aur Geeta, Saagar, Shakti and many more. Apart from his directorial success, he has also made significant contributions as a producer, shaping several successful films under Ramesh Sippy Entertainment, including Dum Mari Dum and Nautanki Saala. He has served as the chairman of Guild, MESC and NFDC, and as been Chairman Jury for National Awards, Filmfare, IIFA and several others while playing a key role in India's film industry regulations. Additionally, he founded Ramesh Sippy Academy of Cinema and Entertainment offering courses in Media and Entertainment.
Kiran Joneja Sippy:
Kiran Joneja is a versatile Indian actress, model, producer, and the Managing Director of the Ramesh Sippy Academy of Cinema and Entertainment (RSACE). She is significantly know for her roles in the films Jab We Met and Khosla Ka Ghosla, alongside her roles in popular TV shows Buniyaad and Mahabharat. She began her career as a model doing prestigious advertisements for Nivea, Lakme and many more. She also hosted her own talk show, The Kiran Joneja Talk Show for Starplus and Fasle for DD News. In addition, Kiran Joneja plays an influential role as MD in RSACE, contributing to shaping the future of cinema education and talent development.
Mohit Soni:
With a rich experience spanning over two decades, Mr. Mohit Soni is a seasoned professional renowned for his prowess in building start-ups, fostering emerging
businesses, and establishing noteworthy education brands within the media and entertainment sector. His visionary leadership has played a pivotal role in creating
robust industry-academia collaborative models and fostering international alliances, significantly contributing to the growth of the Media and Entertainment sector.
As the driving force behind the Media & Entertainment Skills Council (MESC), Mohit is committed to advancing high standards and ensuring sustainable development in the
industry. He actively cultivates partnerships with media, film, and television companies, as well as educational institutions, fostering a skilled workforce equipped with the
precise skills needed for excellence in the profession.
Beyond national borders, Mr. Soni extends his influence globally by seeking and developing international partnerships with other countries. This initiative aims to
