Synopsis : On the morning of September 5, 1971, the stands of the Azteca Stadium were witness to a historic event: a National Soccer Team was playing in a World Cup final for the first time. It was the women’s representative, a group of young local girls who in a very short period won the hearts and respect of the Mexican audience. Fifty years later, the protagonists of this achievement remember the hard path they had to tread, and the unprecedented rupture they managed to create in a sport monopolized by men.
