Synopsis : Jimmy, an American Bhutanese food anthropology student, returns to Bhutan after twenty years. His mother, Jane, once ran the pioneering restaurant Pelbue before abruptly leaving Bhutan with Jimmy, but without her stepdaughter, Yangchen. Jane's sudden departure has left behind scars. Yangchen, his stepsister, feeling abandoned, grew up a loner, and found solace in Bhutan’s landscapes. Back in Bhutan, Jimmy stays with his friend Angay and attempts to reconnect with the now distant Yangchen.
