Synopsis : Ayşe (47) lives with her brother Ridvan (38), who has Down Syndrome, on the outer edge of the ever-growing Istanbul. Their father has been ill for a long time, and is spends his days awaiting death. When Ayşe receives a marriage proposal from an international truck driver who stops by the gas station where she works, she makes a choice between her destiny and her dreams.

Necmi Sancak studied film at Santa Monica College and California State Northridge in Los Angeles from 2009 to 2015. After directing several short films in Los Angeles, he founded one of Turkey's most significant film festivals abroad, the Los Angeles Turkish Film Festival.
