Synopsis : The introvert Foley artist Eva struggles to create sounds for a commercial featuring a horse. Empowered by a horsetail growing out of her body, she lures a botanist into an affair, through a game of submission. PIAFFE is a visceral journey into control, gender, and artifice.

Ann Oren is a visual artist and filmmaker. She studied Film (BA) and Fine Arts (MA) at The School of Visual Arts, NY. After moving to Berlin in 2015, her artistic focus shifted to cinema. She directed ‘Passage’ in 2020, a 16mm short film that serves as a prequel to ‘Piaffe’, which premiered in Oberhausen Short Film Festival.
