Synopsis
On an impulse to reconnect with her origins, Freddie, 25, returns to South Korea for the first time, where she was born, before being adopted and raised in France. The headstrong young woman starts looking for her biological parents in a country she knows so little about, taking her life in new and unexpected directions.

Davy Chou is a Cambodian-French filmmaker. He is the grandson of Van Chann, who mysteriously disappeared in 1969. Chou only discovered in his teens that his grandfather had been one of Cambodia's leading film producers in the 1960s. His films include the documentary ‘Golden Slumbers’ and the feature ‘Diamond Island. Return to Seoul’ is his most recent film
